Wellness Coaching

So what is Wellness Coaching anyways?

To put it simply, health coaches are mentors who help you achieve your goals. Health coaches, like me, are educated in the fields of nutrition and wellness and are equipped to encourage their clients to make positive lifestyle changes that improve their health, weight, and overall energy.

I have two different coaching certification.

As a Dr. Sears certified Wellness Coach, I have trained to work with a model that has helped improve countless people’s lives. I love this approach because it focuses on the WHOLE person:  Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition! In order to make effective changes, you can’t just change your food. The workshops I offer go through all these steps and make them achievable. Dr. Sears has been “in my life” since my own children were born. His countless books have helped guide me through all those amazing and exhausting years. I love that he has learned about nutrition (MOST doctors don’t! In fact, medical schools require only one nutrition class during med school- YIKES! ) and what he offers is very well balanced. 

As a Holisitic Nutritionist, I was able to dive more into research about food and nutrition, and grow my knowledge about the plant based whole food diet. This comprehensive certification focused on DISEASE PREVENTION. Did you know that most of our leading causes of death in the U.S. are directly connected to our diet? Some can even be REVERSED, or significantly slowed down just by changing your food.

Having both certifications enables me to give a more comprehensive approach in my workshops. I am here to educate and share information, no matter where you are on your own path to better living. I practice zero tolerance for judgment, and thrive to create a safe space for all. Whether you are interested in plant based eating or not, the information is relevant to you. 

I have customized three workshops to do just that. L.E.A.N. Start is designed for families with children. L.E.A.N. expectations is for expecting mothers (or couples) or those thinking about getting pregnant. The Plant Based Seminar is for those who are, or thinking about pursuing a plant strong (or vegan) lifestyle. Read more about each workshop below.

   T.O.P. Club

Join our monthly T.O.P. (thrive on plants) club and keep learning. T.O.P meets once a month. Each month there is a new topic that I will discuss- from healthy lunchbox ideas and what to feed your kids after school, to what is a GMO. Come out and hang with other liked minded people and learn something new. As with every workshop, I will always share a fun recipe with you.
