My Story

Hello! and thanks for visiting my website. My name is Donna and I’m a certified Holistic Nutritionist and Wellness Coach in the Los Angeles area. My goal is to educate and encourage people about food and making the right choices that help us prevent disease. I offer in-person workshops in the Los Angeles area, or online workshops anywhere else.

It has been a wild journey to get here, but my path has always been about understand and working with people.

I love learning. I got my B.A. in Women’s Studies (some of the BEST years of my life). I then got my Masters’ Degrees in Social Work and Non-Profit Management. I’ve worked in different capacities throughout my years; I coached teenagers, I’ve worked with families, I’ve helped connect seniors to their community, all deepening my understanding and love for connecting with people.

My love for food also has a history. Coming from a kosher home, food was always on my mind. Early on I had to read labels to ensure things were kosher and I was able to consume them. Eventually it turned into… “what the heck is that ingredient? which lead to further study in nutrition and wellness.

My passion for food and people finally came together when I became a certified Holistic Nutritionist and Wellness Coach. I love nurturing people to a happier and healthier life. My own personal journey has certainly had it’s ups and downs. I appreciate and understand that each individual’s journey is a process, and it’s sometimes hard to make good choices in a world full of easy fixes and instant gratification. What I offer is not a diet plan. Diet plans don’t work. Instead, I offer tools and education about how to make smart choices for your best life- one day at a time.

As a mom of 3 boys, I am constantly learning to find that inner peace (and PATIENCE). I’m also looking for and creating new and exciting healthy meals and snacks because these boys can eat! I incorporate snack and meal ideas into all my workshops and monthly gatherings.

My personal food choice is a plant based whole food diet (you can read more about that journey here). But, by no means do I push that lifestyle on anyone. I understand and respect everyone’s lifestyle choices. My workshops are not exclusively for Vegans. My snack and meal ideas during workshops, however, will usually be vegan so everyone will be able to try <3
